Four mascots have helped Hulu slam dunk its way to its first Emmy nomination.

Hulu’s Behind the Mask, which debuted in 2013 and detailed the lives of sports teams’ masked “unsung heroes,” earned a 35th Sports Emmy Awards nod for Outstanding New Approaches in Sports Programming. Season two of the series premieres on Hulu in 2014.

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences revealed the nominees Wednesday, tapping Behind the Mask creator Josh Greenbaum’s show as a contender.

“When I was younger, I would go to sporting events and see these furry creatures and wonder who’s inside these suits and, more importantly, why,” Greenbaum told Mashable last May before the show was released.. “Now, it’s time to go explore that.”
