A gay man who donated his sperm to enable his lesbian ex-wife to become pregnant is demanding overnight and holiday access to their two-year-old son.

The woman and her female partner have instructed their lawyers to fight the man’s demands on the basis he has ‘betrayed’ a ‘pact’ the threesome made before the baby was conceived, in which they allegedly agreed he would have ‘limited’ parental rights.

The parents are not being named in order to protect the little boy’s identity, but are reportedly all highly-paid professionals living in central London.

CASHMERE, Wash. — Family and friends gathered for a candlelight vigil on Friday evening to remember 14-year-old Rafael Morelos, who hanged himself on Sunday, Jan. 29. Rafael was openly gay, and friends said he was bullied because of it.

Rafael’s mother, Malinda Morelos, said said she did not know that her son was bullied until students at another vigil earlier in the week told her.

“Almost all the kids here told me he was being bullied,” Morelos told the Wenatchee World.

Morelos said she had known for several years that her son was gay, but that he kept his feelings to himself — she said she she had no idea what he was going through.

The Sports Charter Shines A Welcome Light On Homophobia In Football

After what feels like an eternity since the tragic death of my uncle, Justin Fashanu, almost 14 years ago, there are signs that the football authorities may finally be taking a stand. Or is this just a public front amid growing concerns about their lack of effort to tackle homophobia and transphobia in sport?

Last Monday, I presented a BBC3 documentary asking why none of the 5,000-or-so professional footballers currently playing in Britain has come out publicly as gay.

Maybe the programme had some effect, because on Thursday it emerged that Premier League clubs are now expected to sign the Sports Charter, which includes a pledge to combat homophobia.

Brave teen Madison Galluccio urged the New Jersey Assembly to allow her fathers the right to be married.

Galluccio, of North Haledon, says current laws make her and her family feel less than equal. The state’s legislature is debating a marriage equality bill, which both houses will bring up later this month. Republican governor Chris Christie is threatening to veto it.

University of Maryland swimmers struggle to save their program from elimination

At first, all Megan Lafferty wanted to do was lie on her bed in the dark. Like all of her teammates, she was devastated when Maryland Athletic Director Kevin Anderson informed them last November that the university planned to drop its men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams.

Instead, Lafferty threw herself into her junior season for the Terrapins with the same determination she had used to throw herself into the pool for thousands of pre-dawn workouts since she was 7 years old.

Reflecting the recent switch from Democratic to Republican control of the Virginia Senate, a bill aimed at prohibiting discrimination in state hiring on the basis of sexual orientation was defeated today.

The Senate General Laws and Technology Committee rejected Sen. Adam Ebbin’s bill, SB263, on an 8-7 party-line vote.

A similar measure was passed by the Senate last year when it had a Democratic majority, only to be defeated in the Republican-led House of Delegates. Republicans won effective control of the Senate in the November election.
