Playboy Club actor Sean Maher plays a gay rights activist on the NBC show, but in real life the actor says he’s been in the closet his entire 14-year career. And now he has decided to change that.
“It’s so liberating,” Maher, 36, tells EW. “It was interesting to be coming to have a conversation that I was always afraid to have… This is my coming out ball. I’ve been dying to do this.”
